We built our entire business on trust. So we created a sprint with none of the usual second-guessing. We call it Omakase Branding. Three weeks, one team, and a client willing to sit down and let us decide.
What is omakase branding?
Three weeks of focused creative direction, centered entirely on the brand.
No website. No development. No endless feedback loops.
Just the work of figuring out who your company is and how it should show up in the world.
The deliverable isn’t a website. It’s the story.
At the end of the sprint, you receive a complete brand presentation that brings together strategy, messaging, identity and visual language into one coherent vision. It’s the foundation everything else is built on.
The process
Week 1. The download.
This is the only part where we need you. Two lists. The ingredients: your goals, your product, your market, the brands you admire. The allergies: what we can’t touch. A color you never want to see again. A look every competitor already has. A tone that just isn’t you. Then you step back.
Week 2. The build.
We take the wheel. The team works independently, exploring and refining without work-in-progress reviews pulling the process off course. Nobody outside the room weighs in until it’s done.
Week 3. The reveal.
We present the entire brand as one story. Not isolated assets or disconnected deliverables. One presentation that explains every decision and shows how the brand comes to life.
Why no website?
We used to think branding and websites belonged in the same sprint.
We don’t anymore.
The moment a website becomes part of the process, the focus shifts. Conversations move toward layouts, components and implementation instead of the bigger questions. Who are we? What do we stand for? Why should anyone remember us?
Separating the website gives the brand room to breathe. Once the identity exists, the website becomes much easier because the difficult decisions have already been made. That’s why website design is an optional second phase, not part of the sprint itself.
Who it’s for
We only run a small number of Omakase sprints each year. They’re best suited to founders who:
- are comfortable trusting experienced designers to fully lead
- want a distinctive brand
- want clarity rather than endless iterations
This process isn’t for everyone. That’s by design.
Guiding principles
Rule 1. We sell decisions, not options.
You hire us to solve the branding problem, not to present twenty directions and ask you to choose one.
Rule 2. Less feedback. Better work.
We don’t believe great brands are always built through work-in-progress reviews. We gather input upfront, then give the team the space to think and room to breathe.
Rule 3. Brand first. Website second.
The sprint is about creating the foundation. Once that’s in place, we can help bring it to life through a website, motion, marketing or whatever comes next.
What you’ll get
- A clear brand story
- Positioning and messaging
- A logo and visual identity
- Typography and color system
- Graphic language and supporting assets
- A complete brand presentation that tells the story of your company and how the brand comes to life
Just a strong foundation that’s ready for everything that comes next.
At a glance
Omakase Branding isn’t about doing branding faster. It’s about giving branding the focus it deserves. Three weeks. One team. One story. Then we build everything else. A brand built this way is not a box you tick. It is the first real deposit in an account you will draw on for years. Talk to us when you are ready to make it.
