Founding story
The travel industry still runs on outdated, fragmented systems -  .many untouched for over 20 years. Founder and CEO Gary Somerhalder set out to change that with a vision of a fully connected travel world.

With Copilot Travel, he helps companies cut through the chaos of disconnected services. The platform delivers modern digital infrastructure that makes travel booking and tech integration seamless.
The ChallengeOur goal was to build a brand that captured the disruptive spirit of Copilot Travel - telling their story across every product, while bringing their mission to life through a bold brand story.
A key challenge was clearly communicating Copilot Travel’s value and identity across its many products and services.
Copilot Travel’s expansive offerings serve a wide range of audiences. To build a brand that clearly sets them apart from everything that came before, we worked in close collaboration with their team.
Working side by side with the Copilot Travel team - and sharing in their passion and purpose - was key to bringing our shared vision to life.
THE SOLUTION
For those building or working with digital travel technology, navigating disconnected systems is a daily challenge. Copilot Travel’s mission is to unify the travel world through modern, connected infrastructure.
Through our collaborative sessions with the Copilot Travel team, we found that their true differentiator is the ability to bring everything their diverse audiences need into one unified platform - removing complexity and streamlining previously frustrating processes.
The tagline we co-developed - “One company. One connection. One platform.”-captures Copilot Travel’s core positioning. It became the foundation for all branding and design efforts that followed.
Over the course of the project, we built a complex information architecture spanning multiple pages - each designed with its own specific goals in mind.
Not only did we develop strong core branding for Copilot Travel, we also developed a set of sub-brands for each of the key products.
Product design
The core challenge for the Zypsy product design team was navigating the aviation industry’s strict regulations. Overcoming this required extensive research and a deep understanding of complex systems.
To build the products of the future, we first had to understand the past. Our goal was to bridge traditional and modern user experiences while ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Beyond the challenge of integrating with legacy systems, our team was also responsible for designing and developing a distinct set of features.
Each feature is part of the broader Copilot Travel ecosystem, built on its core infrastructure to deliver more personalized and seamless experiences than traditional travel services.
We didn’t just integrate AI services for users—we also developed a custom language learning model from the ground up.

Designed for rapid learning and operational efficiency, the system positions Copilot as a leader in AI-driven travel technology.
The AI Assistant is a personal co-pilot that helps users book flights and navigate the entire booking process through a simple conversation.
